At the Lechtal Mountain School, we combine alpine adventures with a philosophy that goes beyond the summit. Whether it’s ski tours, ice climbing, high-altitude tours, alpine climbing, via ferratas, or avalanche training – we accompany you year-round into the fascinating mountain world of the Lechtal. A special experience is our Husky Mountaineering, where humans, dogs, and nature come together in a unique way. Our program is complemented by climbing activities for children, guided tours, courses, and special retreats at our Basecamp Gramais.
What drives us is more than the search for the next adventure: We want to help people consciously perceive nature, get to know their own limits, and discover new perspectives. Mindfulness, personal responsibility, and a respectful approach to the mountain world are central to this.

And to bring these two quotes to the point regarding our mountain school: we have developed a contemporary philosophy that is more important to us than human egoism and consumer-oriented “experiences” in our Western world.
A philosophy where nature emerges as the teacher and we are allowed to be its students, and which forms the foundation for forging new paths—paths that no human on this planet has ever walked before.

BASECAMP GRAMAIS
Gramais Retreat Village
Our Basecamp is located on the outskirts of Gramais with its own parking and access to all hiking trails, cross-country ski trails, ski lift, etc. within a maximum of 5 minutes walking distance. Guests have their own entrance and outdoor area, allowing them to enjoy their time out in complete privacy.
We designed the apartment as a winter room concept, perfectly tailored to the needs of mountaineers and ski tourers. Early breakfast, maps, and rental equipment can be booked directly.

365 DAYS A YEAR
We have a year-round season: In winter for ski tours and ice climbing, in spring we look forward to stable snow cover and start early for ski mountaineering, in the afternoon for sport climbing or the husky trail, and in summer we start with our popular Bowspring’n Hike and Bowspring’n Climb seminars. And in the hot months, we get down to extended climbing tours and training courses. While the huskies often get time off from the heat in summer and train early in the morning in the valley, the furry friends are back in pull mode from September. In addition to alpine climbs, where the furry friends accompany us to the base of the wall, there are usually already extensive #huskymountaineering activities that lead us into the snow-covered flanks of our mountains.
