On the trail with Siberian Huskies

We carry out this tour accompanied and supported by our Siberian Huskies.

Lilly, Valluga, Yuta, Pippi, Rosa, Vigo, Freia, and Loki are experienced and trained in mountain hiking and mountaineering. Full of joy and power, they pull on the lead and help us with the ascent.

Before we start, the howling is deafening. But as soon as we begin marching, the world of these two Siberians is all about adventure, hunting, and pull|pull|pull. This way everyone benefits, or at least enjoys an unforgettable adventure: out in the rugged mountains of the Lechtal and Allgäu Alps, with the primal nature of a Nordic dog.

Tactics

• Ascent: The Siberian Huskies are attached by their lead directly to a harness that we wear on our hips. This ensures optimal power transfer for walking together with the Nordic dogs.
• Descent: The dogs walk on a lead with the mountain guide, usually back to the starting point of the tour.
