What we know today, but had to work hard, is to feed a husky 🐺 "properly", ie balanced, nutritious and consistent. Just like we do with ourselves, because it takes a lot of energy and endurance when we go to the mountains. 🏔
An alert mind conditions a healthy body, because pain and illness cause stress. And that is completely out of place in alpine terrain.
Huskies are carnivores! And what our huskies especially love is the meat of the Valais black nose sheep from our own breeding together with Haus Zita in Gramais. For our huskies we do not buy meat from the supermarket.
This means for us "SUSTAINABLE": to live from what we produce ourselves, with a lot of work and renunciation. WAIVER? YES! Because time is a matter of priority. And to produce meat for eight 🐺 and for our own use in an honest and species-appropriate way, and thus incidentally to maintain the cultural landscape, is anything but simple, requires a lot of time and dedication that is no longer available elsewhere. ♥️
