Description

Advanced Alpine Mountaineering Training Tyrol

We focus on independent tour planning and tour leadership for mountaineering in glaciated high alpine terrain.

Rope technique plays a particularly important role on advanced tours, because on different terrain (rock, ice, snow) and depending on the steepness, there’s a lot to watch and you need to adapt to stay safe: steep firn slopes, ice sections, traverses in rocky terrain, ridge climbing, descent and abseiling, and much more require a broad range of knowledge in building anchors, rope handling, and rope team procedures.

And to get the most out of an alpine mountaineering day, a few planning support tools play a key role in tour planning.

A wealth of knowledge that we’ll teach you over 4 days at the Hanauerhütte base in Parzinn in the Lechtal Alps.
